Rival Oval Smart Crock Pot – Stainless Steel (5.5 qt.) Review

It is understandable that some of the reviewers are upset with their Rival Crock-Pots, and I wouldn’t have a way of knowing if their claims are true or false. Unfortunately, this thread of reviews seems to lump together all sorts of different Rival models, with differing sizes and features. My review is for model number 5855C. I have used it and I have absolutely no problems with it. It has not “cracked”; it does not boil the food. To be honest, it does exactly what I would expect from a Crock-Pot: It cooks efficiently, with the added benefit of having a programmable digital timer. I did not pay upwards of 100 bucks for this, either. I found it, brand-new, in the box, at Tuesday Morning for . One thing to consider is that larger Crock-Pots are meant to be used when cooking larger meals. Makes sense, right?
